Please keep them in your prayers during this difficult time.

RAISED $9,107.00

Thank you to all the bands, people who donated raffle items and fans who supported this event.

We arrived at The Weston Playhouse at 8:00 a.m. hoping the power had come back on.  Our friend Keith drove over 2 hours and was there with the sound already set up (even though there was not power in the building).  I called the power company the night before and again that morning and they could not guarantee that the power would be restored anytime soon. At 9:00 a.m. we felt we had to tell the bands who were generously donating their time that the show was called off.  After this we made as many calls as we could to get the word out.  Ted & Irene Lehmann put it on the Internet and Mike & Mary Robinson also helped to spread the word.  At 10:30 a.m. I feel all the support and prayers for Linda helped to restore the power.  We were back in business.  Some of the bands were unable to make it due to the short notice and road conditions.  We started making more calls and decided to have the show start at 3:00 p.m.  "The "Bluegrass Family" all worked together to make the Linda Ralph Benefit an event to remember.  The building was freezing cold so fans were wrapped in blankets and mittens.  Due to weather conditions there ended up being no water which gave it that real festival feel.  Clyde Proch was the MC and he jokingly suggested what you take in you must take out since we weren't able to flush the toilets.  Seth and help went to get 5 gallon pails of water from my Uncle and that worked until the plumber was able to come.  Overall, with all of these obstacles the show was a huge success.  After we notify Linda of the final amount raised we will post it here.  If any of you couldn't attend and would like to make a donation you can donate here online or mail to Candi Sawyer, 164 Church Avenue, Bellows Falls, VT  05101.

Ted Lehmann and Marla Singleton were taking great pictures.  Ted's link is here and as soon as I receive them from Marla that will be here too!
